Department Information:

Established in 2015 with a capacity for 60 students, the Department of Diploma Electrical Engineering boasts a cadre of dedicated and skilled faculty members. Drawing expertise from both industry and academia, these faculty members enrich the academic programs with practical insights and knowledge.

The department's strengths lie in its qualified staff, well-equipped laboratories, commitment to integrity, motivation, and systematic approach to processes. It operates a robust feedback system from students and staff, facilitating continuous improvement in all aspects of its operations.

Electrical engineering, a professional discipline focused on electricity and electronics, is witnessing increased demand due to the burgeoning requirements of electrical power systems and the growth of energy and automation industries.

Through comprehensive training in areas such as Electrical Power Systems, Electrical Machines, Electrical Measurement and Instrumentation, Testing and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment, and Power Electronics, the department ensures students are well-prepared to become competent engineers and responsible citizens. State-of-the-art laboratory facilities and exposure to industry trends contribute to this preparation.

Furthermore, the department empowers students to pursue higher education and equips them with technical knowledge and skills essential for career advancement and community service. In doing so, it strives to prepare graduates to meet the challenges and opportunities in the ever-evolving field of Electrical Engineering.
