Department Information:
Mechanical Engineering Department was Established in 2015. The hands-on-practice at Mechanical Engineering Department is contributing strongly in thermal, design and manufacturing areas. Regular interaction with industry through collaborative projects, course requirements and general discussions on advancements in technological aspects develop an environment closer to the practical essence of engineering. Regular activities are arranged and encouraged in the department for indigenous product development, skills enhancement and interdisciplinary interactions.
Our department has a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty, well infra-structure and lab facilities. We are striving hard continuously to improve upon the quality of education and to maintain its position of leadership in engineering and technology. The core values of the department help the students to develop their overall personality and make them worthy to compete and work at global level. Our faculty is continuously attending various training programs, publishing research papers, many are pursuing research. Mechanical Engineering Department has been conducting faculty development programs, seminar / conferences & technical symposiums to keep the faculty and students abreast with the latest developments in the field of technical education. We are happy to share that many students are pursuing higher studies in leading universities. I am certain that our students will prove to be an invaluable asset to an organization.

- Design the solution for complex Mechanical Engineering problems through system component design or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate considerations for public health, safety, cultural, societal and environmental considerations.
- Use research based knowledge and research methods, conduct experiments, interpret and analyze the data and report the result.
- Get familiar with modern engineering software tools and equipments to analyze Mechanical Engineering problems.
