The Cell of Research and Development is responsible for:

- To provide administrative support to sponsored research projects
- To play an active role in creating state-of-the-art research facilities of the Institute
- To Promote consultancy
- To provide support in filing patents
- To promote for Higher Studies & Doctoral Programmes
- To interact with other organizations and Industries – through MOU’s & Collaborations.
- Seeking & Preparing Proposals related to externally funded projects.
- Providing Information related to major equipments to execute research through various means.
STRATEGIC PLAN FOR REASERCH & DEVELOPMENT:
- Formation of Research Team Under R&D Cell to initialize activities
- Identify local/ Community Related issues & Provide solutions
- Sending Research Proposals to University & Other Funding Agencies
- MOU Linkages with Reputed Organizations & Industries
- To Upgrade Labs for involvement of Research Oriented Equipments
- Promote to purchase Green, Clean & Environment Friendly Renewable Energy Sources
- Focusing towards getting Sponsorship's
- Create Awareness among faculty regarding Ethics of Copyrights Plagiarism, Royalty & Intellectual Property Rights through Workshops
- To Promote for Patents & Consultancy

- Identify local/ Community Related issues & Provide solutions
- Get Involved in Testing related assignments
